NECC Announces its Election

The Nepal Education and Cultural Center (NECC) has officially announced its upcoming election. With the current executive committee and board of trustees’ term set to conclude on December 31, the NECC is preparing for the election as mandated by its bylaws.

The election will be held for various positions within the organization, including:

Executive Committee (EC):

  • President
  • Vice President – Programs and Operation
  • Vice President – Finance and Development
  • General Secretary
  • Secretary
  • Treasurer
  • Vice Treasurer

Managing Directors (8):

  1. Culture
  2. Education
  3. Inventory Management and Food Service
  4. Facility Management and Development
  5. Information Technology
  6. Community Outreach and Fundraising
  7. Media and Publication
  8. General and Operations

Board of Trustees (BOT):

  • Chairman
  • Vice Chairman
  • Secretary
  • Board of Trustees (11 members of the BOT)

To participate in the election process, all current general members are required to submit their annual dues of $100.00 by October 31, 2023. New memberships can also be obtained by paying the $100.00 annual membership fee by the same date.

For those community members interested in becoming associated with the organization, here are the membership options and fees:

  1. General Member: $100.00 annual dues by October 31, 2023, and each subsequent year.
  2. Life Member: $2,000.00 one-time minimum contribution.
  3. Trustees: $5,000.00 one-time minimum contribution.
  4. Platinum: $15,000.00 one-time minimum contribution.
  5. Benefactor: $25,000.00 one-time minimum contribution.
  6. Patron: $50,000.00 one-time minimum contribution.
  7. Golden Patron: $100,000.00 one-time minimum contribution.
  8. Diamond Patron: $500,000.00 one-time minimum contribution.

Individuals interested in any of the positions mentioned can express their interest by sending a letter to necc-election@neccusa.org no later than November 15, 2023. Further details regarding the election process will be provided in due course.
