With the increase in the number of people going to foreign jobs, remittances have also increased. In the last financial year, the remittance inflow ie remittance has increased by 21.2 percent.
Announcing the details today, Nepal Rastra Bank has said that in the financial year 2079-80, remittances of 12 trillion 20 billion 56 crores have increased by 21.2 percent. Last year, remittances increased by 4.8 percent.
The remittance flow in US dollars increased by 12.1 percent and reached 9.33 billion. Last year, such flow increased by 2.2 percent.
